When I was growing up, I remember watching this tv show, it was aired both as an animation and as live action, it was spawned by a series of hit movies, but at that time I had only seen the tv shows, the names of the shows "Planet of the Apes", and the Animated version "Return to Planet of the Apes".

 

         In the show it seemed the humans were in few numbers, and all the different ape and monkey types are everywhere and in total control.  Wow, thats exactly how I feel here in my shop, it seems me and my wife the lowly humans are running around rampant serving and dealing with all these different t-shirts, and polos, Tank tops and various other apparel creatures, all of them in total complete control of my life, this one needs this print but the ink has to be specially thinned, and that one needs to be embelleshed and dose not even know it, all those over their: proud in their ranks, need to be properly folded and stacked, and all the while me and my wife embeded in servitude to these cotton creatures, . . . . . and for what???, . . . . . because we love it!

 

       We love being slaves to the cotton masses, we answer to every beckon call they make of us, just to ultimately satisfy you, the relatively unseen customer, ya, you might stop by to confirm the order, or swing by to pick it up, but really the majority of my time is spent in the confines of a self created world run by T-shirts which brings us back full circle to the title of this my very first blog entry.  This was the best analogy I could come up with to best describe life inside a T-shirt Shop, . . . for me anyway I'm sure every shop is different, . . . well thats not true I "know" every shop is different, I have worked in enough to know, our shop is really awesome and a super fun place to be.
